How can I use this resource?
With this resource students learn to work with compass and ruler by creating geometric constructions step-by-step. Graphic works make geometry really "tangible" and allow students to be artistically active in math lessons.
In these materials, we warm up by explaining the most important, basic
geometric techniques such as ‘halving a line’, ‘copying an angle’, etc.
After this, we explain step-by-step how to construct a triangle, a
square, a pentagon, a hexagon, and an octagon with compasses and a
ruler. Alongside this there are between six and nine different
circle-pattern designs for each polygon, which you can copy and color as
you like, letting your creativity run wild.
